How This Document Works
AKIN Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 43 686 493 201) (“AKIN”, “we”, “us”)
Refreshed: 9 August 2026 | Supersedes version of 18 July 2026
This is a single, generic document that applies to every AKIN White-label Program (for example Drifter's “Runaway Club” or Viajero's “Viajero Go”). It is not completed or re-issued per Partner, and does not need to be updated when a Partner changes its Program's name, tier names, qualification thresholds or benefits — that information is published by the Partner on its own website instead (see clause 4.1). This document also serves as the Program's Privacy Notice: see clause 7 (Your Data).
These Terms are supplementary to, and must be read together with, the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions and the AKIN Privacy Policy. To the extent of any discrepancy between these Terms and AKIN's policies or position, AKIN's policies or position prevail and AKIN retains absolute discretion to determine the correct position. This is consistent with the precedence clause in the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions.
1. About Your White-label Program
1.1 Your White-label Program (the “Program”) is a loyalty program owned by AKIN Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 43 686 493 201) (“AKIN”). AKIN grants the Partner operating the Program (“Partner”) a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to operate the Program for so long as the Partner participates in the AKIN Travel Loyalty Program, and the Program is operated by AKIN on the Partner's behalf. This licence terminates if the Partner ceases to participate in the AKIN Travel Loyalty Program.
1.2 The Program name, logo, and brand assets associated with your Program are owned by the Partner. The underlying technology, points engine, membership administration, tier calculation, data storage, and customer support functions are provided and operated by AKIN.
1.3 The Program does not exist independently of AKIN. It is a white-label presentation of AKIN membership, and cannot be joined, administered, or operated without a corresponding AKIN membership existing for each Program member.
2. Joining Your Program Also Makes You an AKIN Member
2.1 By signing up to your Program, you are also and automatically becoming a member of the AKIN Travel Loyalty Program (“AKIN Membership”). You will hold a single AKIN member profile from the date you join until the date, if any, that you cease to be a Program member in accordance with clause 6.
2.2 You cannot hold Program membership without AKIN Membership. Joining the Program requires you to separately accept the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions and AKIN Privacy Policy, as described in clause 3.
2.3 If this is your first-ever registration with AKIN, whether directly or through any white-label program, the Partner becomes your Origin Partner under the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions. If you are already an AKIN Member at the time you join the Program, your existing Origin Partner is unaffected by your joining the Program.
2.4 Your AKIN Membership gives you access to the reciprocal benefits of the wider AKIN network of Partner properties, in addition to the benefits of your Program at the Partner's properties, as set out in clause 4.
3. Sign-Up and Consents
3.1 To join the Program you must:
- create or confirm your AKIN member profile;
- accept these Terms, the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions, and the AKIN Privacy Policy; and
- confirm your marketing preferences as described in clause 3.3,
each as presented to you as part of a single sign-up process operated by AKIN.
3.2 Acceptance of the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions and AKIN Privacy Policy is mandatory to join the Program and cannot be declined while still becoming a Program member, because your data is administered by AKIN as described in clause 7.
3.3 You will be asked to separately choose whether you wish to receive marketing communications from (a) the Partner and (b) AKIN. Each choice is optional, independent of the other, and independent of your ability to join and use the Program. Neither box is pre-selected for you. You must actively opt in to each if you want to receive that marketing.
3.4 The Partner may only use your contact details for its own marketing where you have opted in to the Partner's marketing specifically under clause 3.3. The Partner is contractually prohibited from using your information for marketing without that consent.
3.5 You can withdraw either marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe facility in any marketing communication, or by updating your marketing preferences in your AKIN member profile or on the Partner's Program webpage.
4. Rewards, Points and Tiers
4.1 Your Program has its own reward structure, tier names, earn rates, and qualification thresholds (the “Program Tier Structure”), which is set and published by the Partner on its own website, and which the Partner may vary at its discretion from time to time, subject to the operational requirements of AKIN's platform. Because this information is maintained by the Partner outside this document, it may change without requiring an update to these Terms.
4.2 Separately, you also hold an AKIN Membership Tier (A, K, I, or N), calculated under AKIN's standard methodology as described in the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions, based on your AKIN Points and stays across the wider AKIN network.
4.3 Your AKIN Membership Tier will be the higher of (a) the Membership Tier you would otherwise hold under AKIN's standard methodology, and (b) the AKIN-equivalent Membership Tier corresponding to your Program tier under the Program Tier Structure. This comparison operates only to raise your AKIN Membership Tier, and never operates in reverse to raise your Program tier.
4.4 As the Partner operates your Program as its own branded loyalty program, the Partner can see your actual AKIN Points balance, your Membership Tier and progress toward your next Membership Tier, and your activity across the AKIN network, in addition to your Program-specific status. See clause 7 (Your Data) for full detail. This differs from AKIN Partners who do not operate a White-Label Program, who cannot see your AKIN Points balance and see only a tier-progress indicator.
5. AKIN Benefits and Program Benefits
5.1 You are entitled to receive AKIN Benefits, calculated by reference to your AKIN Membership Tier, at any AKIN Partner property excluding properties operated by the Partner. You are also entitled to Program-specific benefits available at the Partner's properties under the Program Tier Structure.
5.2 The Partner is responsible for the redemption of Program-specific benefits at its own properties. AKIN is responsible for administering AKIN Benefits across the wider AKIN network in accordance with the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions.
6. Exit
6.1 You may leave the Program at any time by closing your Program membership through your AKIN member profile or by contacting AKIN support. Leaving the Program does not end your AKIN Membership. You continue as a standard AKIN Member unless you also close your AKIN Member Account.
6.2 If the Partner ceases to operate the Program or ceases to be an AKIN Partner, your AKIN Membership, Membership Tier, AKIN Points, Travel Credit, and other AKIN Benefits accrued to that date continue in full. Only tier status, points, or rewards that exist specifically under the Program (as distinct from your AKIN Membership) will cease.
7. Your Data
7.1 This clause 7 is not a replacement for the AKIN Privacy Policy — it sits on top of it, and forms the Program's Privacy Notice. It explains what is different, or worth emphasising, because you have joined a White-label Program. For everything not addressed in this clause 7 (your rights generally, retention periods, our lawful bases, international transfers, and our EU/UK representative details), the AKIN Privacy Policy applies in full and is available at https://akintravel.com/en/privacy.
7.2 AKIN Travel Pty Ltd administers your Program and is responsible for your personal information as described in the AKIN Privacy Policy. The Partner operating your Program is a recipient of certain information about you, as described in this clause 7, for the purpose of operating the Program as its own branded loyalty program. Unlike AKIN Partners that do not operate a White-label Program (whose access to your profile is limited to periods around a Stay), the Partner's access to your Program profile is ongoing for as long as you remain a Program member, consistent with the Partner operating the Program as its own loyalty program.
7.3 For as long as you are a member of the Program, the Partner can see the following about you, on an ongoing basis (not limited to periods around a Stay):
- your full name, member number, and contact details (email and phone), shown only where you have separately consented to receive marketing from the Partner; see clause 3.3;
- your AKIN Membership Tier and your actual AKIN Points balance;
- your Program tier, status, and progress under the Program Tier Structure;
- your photo and your self-selected preferences (e.g. beaches, cities, nature; voluntary and non-sensitive);
- your booking activity within the Partner's own property network; and
- your Program marketing consent choice under clause 3.3 (whether you may be marketed to), not disclosed to the Partner as a standalone flag beyond what is needed to determine this.
7.4 This is broader than what a standard AKIN Partner can see, and is not time-limited to a Stay. This reflects the Partner operating the Program as its own loyalty program, in the same way it would if it ran the Program independently of AKIN.
7.5 AKIN uses your information to administer your Program and the wider AKIN Travel Loyalty Program, calculate your tiers and points, and provide customer support, on the same lawful bases described in the AKIN Privacy Policy (principally contractual necessity).
7.6 Where the Partner uses an automated connection between AKIN's platform and its own property management system (PMS), this is a one-way, automated synchronisation necessary to administer your Program membership and bookings. This processing does not depend on your marketing consent.
7.7 If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, your personal information is transferred to and processed by AKIN in Australia, and may be transferred to the Partner in that Partner's jurisdiction, as described in the International Data Transfers section of the AKIN Privacy Policy.
7.8 AKIN has appointed VeraSafe as its Article 27 representative for both the EU and UK. Contact details for AKIN's EU and UK representative are set out in the AKIN Privacy Policy.
7.9 Where the Partner uses a property management system (PMS) connected to AKIN's platform via API (see clause 7.6), and that PMS is Mews or another European-focused system, the automated data flow between AKIN and that PMS is scoped so that only your own information, not the information of other guests who have not consented, is accessible via that connection.
7.10 Your rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and AKIN's data retention periods, are set out in full in the AKIN Privacy Policy. Where you request deletion of your AKIN Member Account, your Program membership ends at the same time, since it cannot exist without an underlying AKIN Membership.
7.11 Questions about this clause 7, or about your Program specifically, can be directed to privacy@akintravel.com. The Partner operating your Program can also be contacted using the contact details it publishes, for matters specific to its own use of your information.
8. General
8.1 The Partner may vary these Terms and the Program Tier Structure from time to time, in accordance with the variation provisions of the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions.
8.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, consistent with the AKIN Customer Terms and Conditions.
